This charming stone built, country cottage is situated on the outskirts of the rural hamlet of Sheen, which is on the Derbyshire border of the River Dove surrounded by fields of rich pasture. Bank Top Lodge sits on the edge of Hartington, which is a pretty little village with its duck pond, gift shops, pubs, cafes and its famous cheese shop. The cottage overlooks beautiful Peak District countryside, with views that include Berresford and Woolfcote dales. Bank Top Lodge is an excellent base for those wishing to walk, cycle and explore, close to the Manifold Valley and Tissington Trail. Ideal for visiting Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and other famous attractions. Alton Towers/Chatsworth 25 minutes away.
